Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: The student must have completed their matriculation (SSLC/Class 10) and be currently enrolled in a recognized post-matric course. Eligible courses include Pre-University Courses (PUC), Bachelor’s Degrees (BA, BSc, BCom, etc.), Diplomas, ITI, Engineering (BE/BTech), and Medical programs (MBBS, BDS, AYUSH).
- Department Allocation: Accommodations are divided based on community categories under two primary wings:
- Social Welfare Department: Primarily caters to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) students.
- Backward Classes Welfare Department: Caters to Other Backward Classes (OBC), including Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B students.
- Domicile: Applicants must be permanent residents of Karnataka.

- Caste and Income Certificate issued by the competent authority (with a valid RD number).
